As part of their workforce development efforts for youth, Partner4Work administers the Learn & Earn Summer Youth Employment Program. However, they encountered difficulty tracking the large amounts of incoming data. Their process for tracking information was done manually and was very inefficient, using multiple separate spreadsheets. They were in desperate need of a centralized place to keep track of all their client and employer information.

By implementing Launchpad’s Case Management application, built on Salesforce, for the Learn & Earn program, Partner4Work created a centralized place for all of their client and employer information, giving them a 360-degree view of each job seeker.
Our Business Services solution allowed Partner4Work to easily keep key documentation for every client. With detailed information of each participant, they were able to efficiently match each of them to opportunities offered by their employers.
Additionally, using our CRM, Partner4Work was able to build automatic emails for their clients and employers. Partner4Work used this automation to send confirmation emails to applicants to Learn & Earn and to notify employers of eligible job applicants.

Launchpad gave Partner4Work the ability to create customizable reports and dashboards using Salesforce features that were geared towards their specific needs. The Partner4Work strategy team was working on a specific program and needed to know which participants in the Learn & Earn program were male, over 19, and interested in a specific trade program. With the help of the customized reports built out with Launchpad, they were able to instantaneously pull a report and send that information to their strategy team.
Using Launchpad, Partner4Work was able to build reports to track their employers and their placement outcomes. Their staff was able to have access to a real time report which showed how many youth are placed in each provider, and also how far each employer reached their capacity.
Data and reporting has become the backbone that informs key decisions for the Learn & Earn program and measures the reach of the program to youth across the county and city. Since implementing Launchpad in 2017, the Learn & Earn program has substantially grown its youth participants by over 30%.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Partner4Work faced various challenges that required them to adapt to how their programs operated. A must-have during this pandemic is a computer to work remotely. Using Launchpad Case Management, they were able to identify who specifically was in need of a laptop to do work virtually.
For every computer issued, Partner4Work was able to hold a record for the computer. Using Launchpad, they could see each the address of participants in need and confirm that they received the computer. This ensured equitable distribution of technology across the city and county. Through Launchpad, participants could complete Learn & Earn applications on their smartphones. In all, using Launchpad has given tremendous leverage to Partner4Work to be proactive, not reactive, in their efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
